Faribault Flash Special Olympics exists to engage individuals with intellectual disabilities in athletic competition. Individuals who compete in Special Olympics learn and hone their skills in their chosen sports and also gain a valuable social outlet with their peers. Faribault Flash Special Olympics currently offers the following sports for our athletes:

Athletes are able to participate in various competitions throughout the season. All athletes are given a chance to participate at their own skill level with other athletes who are also at their skill level.

Through generous donations and fundraisers, Faribault Flash Special Olympics are able to offer our sports free of charge to our athletes. All equipment is provided for each sport, however, athletes are welcome to bring their own equipment.

All sports programming is provided by certified volunteer coaches. Without the volunteer coaches, we would not be able to provide our resources free of charge. Advance training is offered for each sport for those coaches who wish to further their coaching skills.
